Last month Zki (from Chocolate Puma) called me again and I went over for a briefing.

Normally I include Zki and Dobre on every album cover. I think could draw them without a photo reference. But now they wanted to stray off the beaten path.

Next album cover- for their new single ‘The same way’ was to be without any depiction of Zki or Dobre, and -brace for impact- NO VEHICLE.

I was gasping for air, cold sweat running down my back. how could they have me do an illustration without a car- or even a bike ! No, they wanted an album cover with girls on it. There was no transport needed because the Robots I drew on another CP cover were supposed to abduct the girls, as well as a stream of cool objects ( they gave me a whole list of them) through a hole in the roof.

The whole image might be animated for VJ purposes, too. I’ll post an update when that happens.
