The Shop interior

I did a logo for DIYS Soap, the company that lets you make your own cosmetics with your own kitchen tools. Now that’s a really short introduction, there’s more about them here. The owner/founder Erica Linger asked me if I could do interior sketches as well. She had an upcoming pitch and needed visuals to gather interest from investors, to fund her new workshop. Normally I would either turn technical drawings into palatable renderings, but there was no actual interior design yet. she just needed inspirational visuals. The deadline was just a couple of days and I had to envision a workspace. I left the sketchpad and pencils and made a 3D model interior.

I thought of a cash desk, and a closet with lots of drawers,to show all the products that can be made. Above all there’s the workshop area with work tables, sinks, and overhead storage for all the ingredients.

Then there’s an organic oil station, with special chrome six litre cans, with a grate around it to catch the dripping oil.

And here’s the entrance/showroom area. I added lots of bottles and pots.

So that was a quick job, I heard the investors really dug the visuals, hopefully Erica will find that new workspace and maybe she’ll incorporate some of my ideas.
